Facilities
The Kenton is a family run guest house with 15 letting bedrooms, most with glorious sea views. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower, toilet and wash basin, we do also have one room with double bath and shower. They are all comfortably furnished with central heating for the cooler months and have tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and flat screen TV’S with Freeview channels. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided in all bathrooms.
Our comfortable sun lounge looks directly out over the stunning scenery of cliff tops to Porth & Whipsiderry beaches and the ocean.
We have plenty of communal public areas to sit and relax, whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery, including;
- Sun lounge & outside terrace
- Bar serving hot and cold drinks
- Games room with pool table and darts board
- Large lawn to the side of the building for children to play
- Restaurant serving breakfast every morning
The lounge is accessible 24 hours a day to sit and relax, with large comfortable sofas and plenty of reading materials. This fantastic space opens out onto a large sun terrace with outside seating for the summer months and a large lawn to the side for children to play. Hot and cold drinks are available from the bar during the opening hours of 12 noon to 11 pm.
Car Parking
The Kenton has free off road car parking spaces located to the front and rear of the property. We have enough car parking for one car per room so can accommodate up to 15 cars at a time, there is also alternative free street parking available should the need arise. We are unable to reserve parking spaces as they are on a first come first served basis. We do however have two wider spaces available for larger vehicles in the rear car park and can accommodate 2 full size coaches or minibuses to the front of the building by prior arrangement.
Luggage & Sports equipment storage
We are happy to offer free storage of luggage if you are arriving or departing outside of the normal check-in hours for your convenience. We also have plenty of free secure outbuilding space to store surfboards, golf clubs, bicycles etc and can offer an outside washing line to dry wet suits, beach towels, swimming costumes etc.
