Family run guest house situated on the cliff tops of Porth Beach in Newquay

A warm welcome awaits you at The Kenton, a family run business for over 80 years with my family being only the third owners of this traditional seaside 1930’s building. Situated on the cliff tops in Porth a quiet little village just 1.5 miles from the hustle and bustle of Newquay town centre.

As a family run guest house, we pride ourselves on giving our guests a more personal friendly relaxed service. With this in mind, we offer a flexible variety of rates to suit your ideal holiday or quick getaway. With packages including breakfast as well as just basic room rates if you would rather not be tied down. Of course, breakfast can still be taken with no need to book in advance.

Food and Drink

Food is available in the morning to all guests, if you don’t have breakfast included in your rate it can be purchased separately. Our restaurant looks directly out over Whipsiderry beach, Porth island and the Atlantic ocean.

Rates and Offers

All of our prices are inclusive of VAT. Nightly prices are for a minimum stay of two nights. (All prices are subject to change.) Please give us a call on (01637) 872736 for single night prices.

The Kenton Studio Apartment

A luxurious, comfortable, self-catering studio on the ground floor that may be reserved year-round and has its own private entrance. The apartment is ideal for people with light to moderate mobility impairments who don't require disability amenities but find it difficult to walk far or climb stairs because it is situated near the parking lot at the back of the complex.

The Kenton is located in the village of Porth, Watergate Road (B3276) on the coastal road which links Newquay and Padstow overlooking Porth & Whipsiderry beach.
